New Research Published: Potential impact and cost-effectiveness of future ETEC and Shigella vaccines in 79 low- and lower middle-income countries

I’m excited to present our most recent publication estimating the cost-effectiveness of future ETEC and shigella vaccines in low- and low-middle income countries. This novel work, published in Vaccine X, builds on our previous estimates of the burden of ETEC and shigella infections and stunting in children. We attempt to capture the heterogeneity  in burden and access in different regions and countries that leads to a wide range of anticipated impact and cost-effectiveness. This information is useful for policy makers in considering the introduction of future vaccines. Both articles are open access and can be downloaded for free.
